There’s a new addition to my Etsy store…vintage button rings. All rings are one-of-a-kind, created using recycled materials & found objects. New jewelry will be added daily. Also, check back in the next week or two for the arrival of my Steampunk Collection. Recycled jewels made entirely from vintage watches & other victorian era findings!
What an exciting opportunity! Looks like I have a long weekend of creative-thinking planned for me.
Darkslide
In order to create the most beautiful Instant Film ever produced, we optimized the new material in every detail. The new Impossible Instant Films will be protected by the traditional Darkslide. Together with Alice Severin, a student of the specialization in Style&Design at Zurich University of the Arts we converted the Darkslides into collector cards presenting selected art projects. On a regular basis we will invite artists to develop refreshing, creative and inspiring content that turns the Impossible Darkslides into unique pieces of art. The first edition “61 Impossible Projects” was developed by Style&Design, ZHdK, CH.
Recently I decided to take a brief hiatus from creating collage art. This decision became eminent after noticing the ever-growing stack of unfinished, half-painted canvases spread throughout my art area. My act of creating on a whim was now feeling forced and controlled. My consciousness, my ideas began controlling and influencing what I created – something I told myself would never happen. With this realization, I sat my paint brush aside and turned my attention to the art of Polaroid and Pinhole photography. I would come back to those empty canvases when the time is right and not a moment sooner.
After a few months break, I sat down to work on one of those unfinished canvases. Well, my self-inflicted drought deemed to be suffice, as I gave the once unfinished canvas a new name, in just one evening.
A Celebration of Go Holga’s Busy Week
I was really pleased to discover that I had made a post on Go Holga every day this week (monday – thursday). I hope you are enjoying the content after the recent lapse that the blog had.
With this in mind, I thought I’d better round off with one final post; a little inspiration from flickr.
I’ve collected together 8 great shots that will definitely make you want to get out and use your Holga camera!
